The Bizkaia-based biotechnology company received the award at the Royal Palace of El Pardo (Madrid), at a ceremony presided over by Queen Letizia

The National Innovation and Design Awards are presented by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities with the aim of recognizing and highlighting companies that have made innovation and design fundamental elements of their strategy.

 

At the ceremony held today, November 6, the awards for 2024 and 2025 were presented, with BIOLAN, represented by Asier Albizu, Founder and CEO, receiving the 2024 National Innovation Award in the Innovative SME category from Queen Letizia at the Royal Palace of El Pardo.

 

These prestigious awards recognize excellence in research, development, and technology transfer processes, as well as the contribution of design as a driver of competitiveness and transformation. Today, the awards for both editions, 2024 and 2025, were presented, underscoring the institutional commitment to promoting talent, design, transformation, and innovation.
