Accelerating Value-Based Innovation: Euskadi Value Health Lab

8–9 October 2026 | Deusto Business School Bilbao

The healthcare system is moving towards a model in which health value, health technology assessment and people’s participation are playing an increasingly important role. This shift is transforming innovation and decision-making, while creating new challenges for clinical professionals, healthcare managers and companies across the sector.

In this context, Deusto Business School, with the support of Novo Nordisk, is organising Accelerating Value-Based Innovation – Euskadi Value Health Lab, a learning experience designed to understand these changes and turn them into opportunities for innovation, collaboration and improvement.

An experience for change

The programme is aimed particularly at professionals with management, executive or leadership responsibilities in healthcare organisations, health technology companies or clinical services, who are interested in understanding how value-based care, health technology assessment and patient participation are transforming the sector.

Over two days, four key perspectives will be explored:

  • Value-based care: current situation, challenges and drivers of its development.
  • Health technology assessment: implications of the new regulatory framework for innovation, funding and the adoption of solutions.
  • The patient perspective: participation and health outcomes as key elements for more effective decision-making.
  • Transformation of the healthcare delivery model: process flows, coordination and collaboration between healthcare management and industry.
