The INNTERACT project stands out as a strategic initiative to accelerate biomedical innovation and strengthen cross-border collaboration between Spain and France in a key area for the future of the health sector.

Developed במסגרת the Interreg POCTEFA programme, INNTERACT aims to foster the development, validation, and market uptake of advanced technologies in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, helping to bridge the gap between scientific research and real-world healthcare applications.

The project brings together ten leading organizations from both countries, which will work collaboratively over the next three years to address shared challenges within the biosanitary ecosystem. This joint effort will enable the connection of scientific, clinical, and industrial capabilities, strengthening the innovation capacity of the cross-border territory.

INNTERACT is structured around six strategic pillars: project management, communication, regional context analysis, medical device validation, market transfer, and the creation of TissueNet—a cross-border network designed to facilitate collaboration among key stakeholders in the health sector.

Among its expected outcomes, the project includes the development and validation of three innovative medical devices, as well as the establishment of this collaborative network, contributing to enhanced competitiveness and faster access of new solutions to the market.

INNTERACT is co-funded at 65% by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA 2021–2027) programme, which aims to strengthen economic and social integration across the cross-border area.
