BIOLAN has recently received two prestigious recognitions that acknowledge both its humanist business model and its contribution to the business fabric of Bizkaia. On the one hand, the company was distinguished at the Arizmendiarrieta Sariak Bizkaia 2026 Awards, and on the other, it received the BIZKAIKO ENPRESAK Award, in its first edition, promoted by CEBEK (Confederation of Businesses of Bizkaia).
Within the framework of the Arizmendiarrieta Sariak Awards, held on April 27 at the University of Deusto, BIOLAN was recognized in the SME category for its humanist business model, aligned with the Inclusive Participatory Enterprise Model (MIPE). The jury highlighted its participatory culture, its commitment to collaborative innovation, and its dedication to the development of scientific talent.
These awards, organized by Arizmendiarrieta Kristau Fundazioa and ADYPE, recognize organizations that integrate competitiveness and human development, focusing on ethical management, social commitment, and participation as key elements of sustainable business success.
A few days later, on May 13, BIOLAN received the BIZKAIKO ENPRESAK 2026 Award granted by CEBEK. The award ceremony took place at the Euskalduna Palace, during an event focused on local roots and the attractiveness of Bizkaia as a competitive strategy.
This award recognizes companies that embody the values and way of working of the region’s business fabric. In this regard, BIOLAN was highlighted for its innovative track record, its contribution to industrial development, and its ability to create value through science and technology.
